9. Deadpool
The Merc' with a Mouth may have had his own video game as late as 2013, but since then there have been two enormously successful Deadpool films.
The rules are pretty loose when it comes to Deadpool, so perhaps a new game could slot in nicely to the timeline of the films, and act as a bridging chapter, or a continuation of them.
While meta fourth-wall breaking video games currently exist, no one does it like Deadpool; the scope for producing something truly subversive and unique to the gaming world is there for the taking. With the right team, care, and resources put behind it, a Deadpool game could do to gaming what the first Deadpool film did for comic book movies.
Given the arsenal he carries, his fighting skills and teleportation abilities, Wade Wilson is pretty much perfect for a new video game.
