10 TERRIBLE Levels In Great Video Games
8. Allies For Bruma - Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
From killing everyone at a party and pinning it on everyone else during the Dark Brotherhood questline, to exploring a unique painting world and battling special painting trolls, so much about Oblivion's levels were just so out there a player couldn't help but fall in love with it all.
Allies for Bruma during the main questline is a level that is definitely exempt from that however.
In the level, the Hero of Kvatch is tasked with going around to all the cities of Cyrodiil and asking for their help against the Daedra invading Bruma. The quest is technically optional, however not doing it will make the final standoff with Mehrunes Dagon's minions all the more challenging to overcome later on in the story.
The worst thing about Oblivion is easily completing the various Oblivion gates, requiring players to battle through dozens of enemies and find a way through to the top of each tower inside, all without a marker on the map to follow. And Allies for Bruma requires players to complete one for every single city in the game before its fully completed.
Seven cities. A real repetitive feel and countless hours of frustration guaranteed.
