10 TERRIBLE Levels In Great Video Games

9. Set To Kill - The Simpsons Hit & Run

The Simpsons: Hit & Run is a great game, a real timeless classic in every sense of the word. The game featured hundreds of references, outfits, gags and locations from the show and brought the world of the Simpsons to life for players in a truly memorable way. It also featured plenty of fun missions with the game's surprisingly smooth mechanics.

Level 6's Set to Kill isn't one of those missions however.

The mission begins at KrustyLu Studios where Bart must throw 600 coins at Kearney for the Globox Super Villain Car. This car is insanely fast but lacks anything resembling balance or control, which certainly makes for a fun ride but not one that's the most sensible for a mission like this.

Players have to drive around the entire port and drive into 25 laser stands in just 1 minute and 25 seconds. The stands have a hilariously small hitbox, are placed in some purposefully hard to reach spots along the roads and the time limit is designed so that even successfully completing the mission will only leave players with a handful of seconds left on the clock.

Tough, tense and incredibly stressful, this is a mission fitting for a finale let alone the second to last in the penultimate level.
