10 Terrible Moments That Prove EA Is The Devil

8. Customer Supp - No, That's Not The Word

Dreamstime S 14978695 Customersupport 600x3001 Customer support is generally terrible for most large companies, not because the agents don't try but purely because there are so many customers with questions that the only options are to hire more agents (Spend Money? On helping their customers? Please sir, this is EA) or give your customers scripted answers no matter what the question is. Personally, I've only ever dealt with EA's customer support twice and they've helped out in both cases (by help I mean I got my refund after a good few months) however a simple Google search shows you how EA decide to treat their customers. I won't list every issue people have had with EA customer support, but there was one issue that just had to be mentioned. It involves a chap who was using the EA forums. He was bumbling around on there and another user decided to swear at him whilst including his forum username in the post. What does EA decide to do? Ban him completely from their services and then revoke the ability for him to play single-player games. No no, you read that right; if someone swears at you on EA forums you will no longer be able to play the multitude of games that you have on Ste--Origin. Actually hang on, he was restricted from playing Bad Company 2 as well...on Steam. Beginning to think I shouldn't have used my name to sign up for Origin, I might never be able to play ALL those wonderful games I purchased.
