Now with a name that includes the word inferior, you might be remiss for passing this model of Tyrant off as little more than a minor threat, but this special enemy also has the disturbing and utterly pants wetting ability to RUN.

Seeing as this was meant to appear in one of the original games, you know where tank controls are order of the day, this would have been horrible to come up against.

The Tyrant Inferior is so named as it's a regular zombie that has undergone a mutation after necrosis has set in. The original plans for this monster were that it would have randomly been a part of larger groups of zombies, kind of like how in Dead Rising some of the zombie hordes you can find a zombie queen.

Except here the death of a Tyrant Inferior wouldn't have rewarded you with a kill all bug bomb, and would only serve to remind you that there's likely another one just around the corner. Brilliant.
