10 Terrifying Warhammer 40K Creatures
4. Ripper Jack
The Ripper Jack at first glance is nothing to be too
terrified of, seeing as it is such a tiny little thing, but size should never
be a factor in the fearsomeness of these creatures. Ripper Jacks are found in
the deep Underhive, and they are the apex ambush predator.
These creatures resemble a blend between a bat, and a facehugger from Alien. They will wait in the rafters of old caves and abandoned buildings, waiting for unsuspecting foes to walk below them. When their prey is within reach, they will leap onto the head of the poor thing, enveloping it in its large wings.
It will then start by feasting upon the eyeballs of their prey, moving in order from the face to the throat, only really eating the fleshy parts. Unless someone pries the creature off of your head, or you manage to beat it off of you, you will succumb to the beast. Whether it be through suffocation from the wings, or the wounds and trauma it inflicted, death is imminent when a Ripper Jack flies down upon you.
