10 Terrifying Warhammer 40K Creatures

The Carnifex is a ginormous Tyranid creature that is frequently used as a living tank for the hive fleets. The most terrifying thing to note about this creature is that due to the biological warfare that the Tyranid race use, there are many different variants to this species.

Each of these variants has a trait to it that make it deadlier than its predecessors, giving it a special way to inflict pain and havoc on the battlefield. One of these variants is known as a Thornback Carnifex. These Carnifex have large spikes and thorns protruding all over its body, allowing to be a great asset when attempting to breach enemy lines.

Another of these variants is known as the Bile Beast Carnifex. This variant allows for the Carnifex to spew an acid upon its foes before coming in for the kill. All of the Carnifex have large crab-like claws that are used for smashing large enemies, or large groups of enemies. Seeing a giant creature like this, whether or not you’re on the battlefield, is something I do not wish upon any soldier.
