10 Things Battlefield 1 Already Does Better Than Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare
2. The Story
So, going off what little has been released so far, here's Infinite Warfare's story... I think.
In the future, Earth's natural materials have run dry because of over population, so other planets and asteroids need to be mined for their materials. A rogue faction declares war and you must prevent this faction from taking over the entire solar system. Throw in a lot of new organizations and a lot of acronyms and boom, that's Infinite Warfare. I mean, look at the video above and tell me you aren't already bored of the villain after 30 seconds.
Working during the time of World War I and sticking to an actual event that actually happened on Earth, the ability to pull from the emotion of one of the biggest events in human history alone will add immensely. Developers have also stated the campaign will have "more options and choices in terms of paths to completing levels and approaching combat."
On top of that, the story is going to be told from the point of view of many playable characters, presumably from different nations. The ability to see the war from so many different sides will do nothing but add to Battlefield's overall engagement - a page lifted right out of the book of old Call of Duty 101.
