10 Things Nobody Admits PS3 Did Better Than Xbox 360
7. Better Exclusives
When people first think of the seventh generation of consoles, their initial reaction might be to think Microsoft had things down when it came to their exclusive titles. And for good reason too: Xbox titles like Halo: Reach were unbelievably popular during the early 2010s, and became the de facto face of online multiplayer gaming during its heyday.
But, outside of Halo, Forza and Gears of War, there is very little competition from the Microsoft camp when it comes to the variety of games Sony were pumping out during the PS3's lifetime.
God of War III was a brilliant hack and slash mythological action game, Unchartered 2, Drake's Fortune and Deception superbly captured the Indiana Jones feel of the series, the Infamous series kicked off on the PS3, and the Resistance franchise did a good job in showcasing the console's capabilities.
Demon's Souls, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Heavy Rain, and the acclaimed Last of Us all also further cemented the fact that, when it came to pumping out jaw-dropping entertaining titles, Sony wasn't being beaten.
More on Microsoft's muddled approach to the Xbox 360 in the entries ahead, but the decision to port every exclusive onto PC also didn't help make the console stand out as a valuable must-have system.
