10 Things Nobody Admits PS3 Did Better Than Xbox 360
6. Blu-Ray HD Drive
If there's been one stick Sony and PlayStation fans have consistently used to beat Xbox fans with when it comes to PS3 vs 360 debates, it's the inclusion of the Blu-Ray HD drive.
The PS2 also doubled up as a DVD player back in the day, and led the charge as gaming consoles became mainstream home entertainment systems for families. For the release of the PS3, Sony chose to take things even further by presenting the console as the most powerful way of digesting entertainment a family could ask for.
In terms of visuals and sounds, there was no way the Xbox 360 could ever hope to compete with the PS3's output when it came to presenting films and boxsets.
Not only did this give the PS3 a huge edge when it came to brand recognition and being the definitive entertainment console, but it also meant there was more room per disc for Sony titles over Microsoft ones. Graphics and sounds were made to look considerably better on the PS3 and, crucially, it also meant that titles could all fit on one disc rather than the multiplies needed on a 360.
