10 Things Nobody Wants To Admit About PlayStation

7. The Cost Of What You Have

Chances are, if you own a PS4 then you also own(ed) a PS3, and will have amassed quite the collection of amazing titles for Sony's previous console at some serious cost over the years. Wouldn't it be good to play those titles every now and then on your newest console?

Well, the thing is... You sort of can't, but you can... sort of.

It's not as simple as putting your PS3 classic disc into the PS4; that would be far too obvious for Sony. Instead, you'll have to stump up an average of $100 a year to access the selected back catalogue of around 400 PlayStation titles, which is pretty outrageous considering backwards compatibility is literally free on the Xbox One.

In the grand scheme of things; it is actually more cost effective to retain your older consoles and buy the classic titles from pawnbrokers - believe me, I'm doing it myself.
