10 Things Only GTA V Fans Understand
9. Elite Challenges And Masterminds
This is something only applicable to the achievement and trophy hunters, a crew looking for incredibly tough challenges, or those that like their video games seasoned with a big teaspoon of sadism.
Every online heist has a list of challenges for each of its finales like completing the mission within a certain amount of time or getting a specific amount of headshots. Up until the release of the Doomsday Heist, these were just additions that earned you a dollop of bonus cash. For the gamerscore crowd, this became a fresh mountain to climb (and has currently only been unlocked by 0.01% of Xbox gamers).
This is the same for the Masterminds achievement, which requires you to complete all of the Doomsday Heist’s setups and finales in order, on hard difficulty, with no one dying. Not only that, you have to do it with the same people, and you have to do it three times: each time with a team of two, three, and four people.
Conquering these challenges requires a team of committed and very skilled players, and in some cases the right resources. Anyone that’s done them (or even one of them) deserves a serious amount of kudos.
