6. You Have Played F-Zero AX (And Likely Have Photographic Proof)

Long-time Nintendo fans not only had to recover from the reeling blow that SEGA of all companies were set to develop the newest instalment of cherished series F-Zero on the Nintendo GameCube, but also had to conversely deal with the exciting news that F-Zero was to hit the arcades for the first time.

A rare machine upon release in 2003 and even rarer now, players were able to use their GameCube memory cards to take home AX content to play on the home console version, titled F-Zero GX, that could then race with homebuilt vehicles back from GX to AX. What's more, AX was found to be on the GX disc in 2013, accessible with a cheat device, some ten years after initial release.
