Okay, right off the bat: Star Wars Battlefront II is awesome.
Despite the tedious cries of "Loot Crates" and "microtransactions" which, like a Mynock stuck to a power cable, refuse to go away (despite these things having being scrapped years ago), there are literally hundreds of hours to be enjoyed here, both on and offline.
While the Forces (buddum tish) of good and evil clash in epic combat across the galaxy, from the oppressive heat of Mos Eisley to the serene streets of Theed, players build up experience points and in-game currency to unlock new characters and more powerful abilities, the better to take the fight to the enemy.
What you might not realise, however, is that - not unlike the use of particular quotes and references in Star Wars fandom more generally speaking - there are certain things we do in Battlefront II which may not make much sense to outsiders; things that only the fans truly understand.
