10 Things Pro Evolution Soccer Needs To Change To Compete With FIFA Again
6. Make The Most Of Co-op Mode
The one mode which PES does better than its rival is its Co-op. Either through normal or My Club people can play up to 3v3 with their friends or random online players and it works very well.
It also has its place in e-sports which we will come onto later in this list! While FIFA’s Be a Pro mode caters for groups of friend to play in anything up to 11 players it has always felt a limited mode which descends into chaos. With the cap at either two or three on PES it allows teams to have hugely enjoyable games time after time.
However, like elsewhere in the game it boils down to ranked matches, with the possibility of unlocking special titles depending on your ratings in matches. It would be great to see a specific mode just for 2v2 and 3 v3 with its own content as this is something PES can say it does well already.
