10 Things That Prove EA Have Completely Lost Their Way
7. The State Of Mass Effect Andromeda
Not all of the blame for the state of Mass Effect: Andromeda can be put on EA, but the fact that they allowed such a buggy and unfinished product to be released is definitely on them.
Mass Effect: Andromeda launched with so many glitches and game-breaking bugs, that even just getting through the first couple of hours was considered a difficult task. Awkward animations and a general graphical downgrade plagued the game and took away from what could have been a sequel even better than Mass Effect 3.
This is all ignoring the fact that Andromeda just wasn't needed. It didn't even really feel like a Mass Effect game in most places, which is disappointing considering how legendary BioWare's original trilogy is. EA saw the state of the game and still chose to release it, which should indicate how the company's view on quality control.
A game so broken that it shelved one of the most popular franchises of the last generation is certainly indication that a company has really lost their way.
