10 Things The Nintendo NX Must Do To Be Successful

1. Secure Third-Party Support

You all saw this coming like a freight train. A recurring theme throughout this entire article is just how important the support of third-party developers are to the long term health of a games console.

It was a combination of outdated hardware (the Wii U is only slightly more powerful than the Xbox 360/PlayStation 3, despite being part of current-gen) and alienation through gimmicky peripherals that sabotaged Nintendo's rapport with said parties.

Rectifying both will undoubtedly bring them back into the fold and give Nintendo some breathing room to work on first-party exclusives in the interim. Let's just hope that the faith that the company lost over the last few years with the consumer can be rectified and left to memory when the NX launches.

Fingers crossed.

Where do you stand on the NX? Cautiously optimistic, or forever indebted to Sony or Microsoft hardware? Let us know in the comments what it would take to sway you!
