10 Things The Nintendo NX Must Do To Be Successful

2. Offer A Strong Launch Line-Up

The Wii U's launch line-up is a perfect example of the problem Nintendo faces if they don't heed the advice offered in the previous entry. On launch day in 2012, over 30 games were released alongside the console. Guess how many of those were directly developed by Nintendo?

Just two. Nintendo Land and New Super Mario Bros. U.

Not exactly a diverse offering, by any stretch of the imagination, but when you then realise that practically every other third-party launch game was simply a port of an existing title that had already been out for several months, you better believe that those alarm bells started ringing. And loudly.

Nintendo themselves just recently confirmed that next year's Zelda will launch simultaneously for the Wii U and the NX, so that's a good start, but it's no good hedging your bets on one big name.

Don't make us wait two years in order to give us more than one reason to buy your console like you did with Mario Kart 8.
