10 Things The Nintendo NX Must Do To Be Successful

9. Include A Respectable Amount Of Internal Storage

Assuming that the Nintendo NX does end up having significant oomph over its predecessor in terms of raw power, we should probably expect it to come with the same 'install before you can play' requirement that its competitors already require for the sake of consistent performance.

If that does turn out to be the case, then there's simply no way that a Wii U-sized 8 or 32GB internal hard drive is going to provide an adequate amount of storage space for your usual combination of game installation, apps, downloads and patches.

The Wii U doesn't even enforce such a rule and yet, simply downloading a few bits and pieces from the eShop is enough to devour your free space in the blink of an eye.

Yes, external storage devices exist, but considering the usual asking price of a new console, anything less than a few 100GB in this day and age is just an insult to the consumer.
