10 Things The Nintendo NX Must Do To Be Successful

8. Provide An Integrated Ethernet Port

For all the wireless routers, Bluetooth-ready devices and cloud technology that exists today, there's still nothing out there that provides a stabler and superior connection between your console and the rest of the world than sticking a LAN cable in the back of the box's ethernet port and connecting it directly to your router.

But Nintendo clearly thought otherwise, because they didn't even bother to include one with the Wii U, instead asking owners to go out and buy an adapter at additional cost, which converted your USB port into one. Which, might I add, results in slower data transfer than a direct line.

None of Ninty's consoles have ever really been particularly popular for online play in comparison to its contemporaries, but if they want that to change, the NX definitely needs to come with an ethernet port as standard.
