10 Things We Learned From The EA UFC 4 Reveal
6. Backyard And Kumite Fights
One of the most striking inclusions in the EA UFC 4 reveal trailer showed fights taking place in a pair of unconventional venues that certainly caught the eye of fans on social media. After all, in previous games in the series players could choose from a variety of arenas that were, for the most part, almost indistinguishable.
And while that is largely understandable given that the UFC doesn't tend to make too many adjustments to its sets between events, variety is the spice of life and having a number of different backdrops for your battles is a really nice touch. The new game will feature a backyard arena, allowing fighters to participate in street brawls inspired by the early career of cover star Jorge Masvidal, who first made a name for himself by defeating Kimbo Slice's protege in a bare-knuckle scrap in the streets of Miami.
In addition to this, a Kumite arena will allow players to live out their Bruce Lee fantasies by bringing the new age of professional fighters into the no-holds-barred days of MMA.
