10 Things We Want To See From Yukes' Alternative WWE 2K Game

2. Focus On A Different Company?

Now isn't this a thought?

Hiromi Furuta didn't necessarily say that Yukes are working on another WWE game to complement 2K's product. Although her words did hint that this would be the case, she didn't outright say it. What if they're not? What if Yukes plan on producing a wrestling title that's based on another company, or want to base their game in a fictional wrestling universe?

AEW, ROH, New Japan and more are all companies that deserve video games (Fire Pro World was hardly an exhaustive NJPW title despite the licenses and limited number of New Japan wrestlers on the game's roster). It'd be incredible if Furuta was leading fans down one path because Yukes had something huge hidden behind the bushes on another.

If it's not a totally separate promotion from WWE (because, let's be honest, that might p*ss the organisation right off), then Yukes could develop an NXT game that plays faster than 2K's product. If so, then we're willing to waive the no commentary rule just to hear Mauro Ranallo say "Mamma Mia" when we kick out of finishers.
