10 Things We Want To See From Yukes' Alternative WWE 2K Game

1. A Gap Between Releases

FIFA, Madden, WWE 2K and more all suffer from the non-stop annual release cycle. The window of development is painfully small, and that's why there are rarely significant changes between each game. This is a trap Yukes don't want to fall into, if only because it's not possible to produce radical improvements in such a short time.

We'd settle for a new wrestling game every three-four years.

If that sounds too long, then consider just how stale 2K's series has become in recent years. Games are released with almost-identical features, only boasting a few small minor additions to give the illusion of advancement. This formula was at its most paper-thin when 2K19 advertised 'Big Head' mode as some sort of top feature last year.

2K can still release WWE games yearly if they like (they are financially successful, after all), but it'd be great to see Yukes give their development team a decent amount of time to get things right before they shove the product out onto shelves/hard drives.
