10 Things WWE 2K17 Needs More Than Goldberg

1. A WCW Mode

By the time WWE 2K17 sees release in October, 2016, it will have been just over 15 years since World Championship Wrestling bit the dust. Occasionally, WWE do look to make some money from the WCW name, realising that wrestling fans of a certain age still have a degree of fondness for the often lambasted organisation.

If Goldberg is going to be in the game, why not build a Showcase Mode geared around the best part of his career? As anyone old enough to remember them knows, his prime years were spent in WCW, not WWE, so it'd be nice to see a WCW Mode included.

Along with the pre-order bonus of a playable Goldberg, those who do buy before the game's release will receive codes to download the classic Monday Nitro and Halloween Havoc stage sets. The basis for a mode revolving around WCW is already there.

Stars like Sting and DDP would help beef it out, but obviously a lot would hinge on WWE getting back on terms with Hulk Hogan. He'd add so much to the mode, it'd feel lacking without him and the nWo.

What else do you think WWE 2K17 needed before Goldberg? Let us know your thoughts down in the comments section below!
