10 Things WWE 2K17 Needs More Than Goldberg

2. A Women's Showcase Mode

It makes sense to imagine that the various Showcase Modes will make a return in 2K17, mainly because they're an enjoyable stroll down memory lane. The mode isn't always perfect, with little details like the wrong commentators spoiling things a little, but they're still a whole load of nostalgic fun.

One idea 2K could make use of is to capitalise on WWE's renewed sense of pride regarding their women's division. There are enough good matches and top stars that the developers could create a workable Women's Showcase, looking at the best the fairer sex have achieved under the promotion's banner over the years.

Going further, perhaps someone like Chyna could play a starring role, her Intercontinental Title matches with Chris Jericho being featured. Even if that wasn't possible, bouts like Trish Stratus vs. Lita, Alundra Blayze vs. Bull Nakano and Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks from NXT would be worthy inclusions.

The mode may be shorter than some before it, but it'd certainly feel like something a little different to the usual fare on offer.
