10 Things You Didn't Know You Could Do With Your Nintendo Switch
10. See How Long You've Been Playing
Before the latest software patch amended this to a console feature, the only way to view time spent playing a game was through the Parental Controls app, which would show you a continually updated list of which accounts had accessed what, and for how long.
No more, as if you head into your Profile menu - just tap up on the stick to highlight your portrait and click in - you'll find a nicely updated breakdown of which games you've played, alongside a friends list accompanied by small notes detailing how and when you met them.
Note: Game-related details don't show until after 10 days of play (I've no idea why), so don't worry if any newly-bought game doesn't show specifics immediately. Even on longer-plays, the system weirdly defaults to "X hours or more", but hey, it's a start.
