10 Times Games Made Fun Of You (And Gave You An Achievement As A Reminder)

8. You're Going To Put On Some Eurobeat, Aren't You? - Buck Up And Drive!

Buck Up and Drive! is a racing game that blends the fun of street racing and skateboarding by allowing your car to perform tricks like kickflips and rail-grinding while you drift.

With a setup like this, it's obvious the game doesn't take itself too seriously, but as it turns out, it doesn't treat its players too seriously either.

The game features a special achievement that makes fun of you when you tinker with its options and mute the volume.

As soon as you turn the music off, Buck Up And Drive! will grant you the "You're going to put on some eurobeat, aren't you?" achievement, calling you out for turning off its carefully curated soundtrack just so you can put on the most predictable choice of music for a 90's-themed racing game about drifting.

It's a really simple joke, but it can really sting if you really did mute the game to do exactly as it predicted you would.

It's like the game can read you like a book, but then again, it just goes to show the developers know their target demographic extremely well.
