10 Times Games Made Fun Of You (And Gave You An Achievement As A Reminder)

The Metal Gear Solid series has a long tradition of messing with the player, starting with its famous fight with Psycho Mantis and his memory card reading powers.

However, sometimes the way the games mess with you is more about humiliating than blowing your mind, as is the case with the Snake Beater achievement.

This wonderfully named achievement from Metal Gear Solid 2 is awarded to those who are caught admiring a picture of a bikini model hidden inside a locker for a little longer than expected.

If you stare at the bikini picture in first-person mode for about a minute, the game will call you out for it with a message from Otacon, who will ask you what you are doing and why you aren't focused on the mission.

After Otacton catches you in the act, the game also awards you with the Snake Beater achievement, which makes things even more embarrassing by claiming you were "stimulating" yourself to the picture in the description.

So not only do you get chastised in-game, you're also called a creep outside of it.

Well, to be fair, though, staring at a pixelated image of a woman for almost minute does sound pretty weird.
