10 Times Star Trek Appeared In Other Video Games

4. Jet Set Willy II: The Final Frontier

Jet Set Willy II is a sequel to the 1984 original, which was itself a sequel to Manic Minor. Jet Set Willy was one of the most successful games ever produced, with this sequel being an expansion on that story rather than a new one to itself.

There was a huge amount of cheating and hacking in the previous game, so Jet Set Willy II acknowledges this by having a screen that only cheaters can reach, with the word CHEAT emblazoned on it. This game wasn't written by the original programmer, Matthew Smith, but was developed by Derrick P. Rowson. Rowson was clearly a Trekkie.

Aside from the obvious tribute in the subtitle of the game, the map of the rooms that make up the spaceship form a very Enterprise-looking shape if you fill out the cartography room. Turning right from this area and you will enter a room with the legend NCC-1501 on the door. Continue along this route and you will eventually reach 'The TROUBLE with TRIBBLES is...' and you will then have to hop over various small furry objects. If you head to the left, you will get to the teleport room, named 'Beam me down, Spotty'.
