3. Terrence Stamp - Halo 3

Bungie's Halo trilogy remains a powerhouse in the FPS scene; when the story wrapped up in 2007, gamers were treated to a powerful sense of finality. Even with all its strengths, not every piece of Halo 3's story was a flawless conclusion.

The primary antagonist for the most part in the Prophet of Truth, who leads what remains of the Covenant with his religious fanaticism. After stabbing the Prophet of Mercy in the back and claiming absolute power in Halo 2, Truth heads to Earth to commence his final destruction of the human race and eventually plans to fire the Halo rings.

For the final entry in Bungie's trilogy, Michael Wyncott was swapped out for Terrence Stamp. A great actor, but many fans agree his performance is inferior. In Halo 2, Michael Wyncott's portrayal was sophisticated and devious, creating a clever villain who would murder his opponents in their sleep rather than attacking them outright.

Stamp's performance loses much of that scheming nature, replacing it with a fairly generic set of ramblings about becoming a God. The way he interrupts a broadcast at a human base is the most glaring mistake Bungie made with the writing. Be that as it may, it didn't take away too much from Halo 3's greater strengths.
