In any RPG you’re going to want to buy all the important things that any random NPC has to sell you. Especially when you’re on the outskirts of a ruined Jedi enclave that you already know salvagers picked clean and one such salvager offers you a Jedi holocron. Not only that but one of your companions has told you to try and track down holocrons and he’ll help you in deciphering them.

Of course, said salvager won’t part with it for nothing which stands to reason so he tells you to fork over 1,000 credits and it’s yours.

You do so and upon further inspection find out the holocron is fake. What is there to do from this point? Absolutely nothing. The guy tells you it’s your bad for buying it, no take-backsies, and he won’t give you your money back. So you stand there with your lightsaber in your hand and 1,000 credits out of pocket feeling like a dummy. Thanks a lot, video game. We trusted you. Kriea almost definitely laughed at you over it too.
