9. Leave The Map - Far Cry 6

The Far Cry series has a long tradition of secret alternative endings where the main character quits their fight against the main villain right at the start. Far Cry 6 is no different, although it triggers the ending in a rather ingenious way that is mindful of players' curiosity.

Unlike Far Cry 4 and 5, where endings are triggered by you waiting around for a long time, Far Cry 6 requires you to travel outside the bounds of the map. This is in reference to Yaran revolutionaries discussing the possibility of fleeing the country and migrating to the United States, in the story.

Indeed, if you heard that conversation and thought it would be fun to try and travel overseas, journeying outside Yara's map will actually trigger a secret ending in which your character moves to the US and is seen relaxing on a beach, listening to a radio broadcast about the failure of the Yaran revolution.

The ending is a fun easter egg that rewards you for paying attention to the story and thinking outside the box.

Or, in this instance, outside the map.
