4. Metal Gear Solid - Johnny Sasaki’s Toilet Troubles
Metal Gear Solid fans will be familiar with Johnny Sasaki, the guard who suffers all manner of misfortunes throughout the series. In the classic PlayStation title Metal Gear Solid, Sasaki is the unfortunate victim of Meryl’s uniform-thievery. He is seen completely naked, though censored, in a less-than-dignified position.
Dignity doesn’t appear to be much of a concern for Sasaki. Later in the game, after the infamous torture sequence, he is the designated guard of Solid Snake’s cell. While on the job, he’s seen to complain of a stomach ache, which unfortunately for him, ends in the way stomach pains so often do: with a desperate dash to the toilet.
This only happens, however, if Snake does not knock him out on a successful escape. It’s very Hideo Kojima to have the character hold his stomach and hurry off in such hilarious fashion, and the detail is even taken a step further.
Snake can follow him and knock on the bathroom door, the only result of which being a pained groan from the occupant.
