10 Truly Terrible Video Game Covers

8. Street Hockey '95

Now, I'll be the first to admit that I'm not too acquainted with the sport of street hockey, but whenever I've seen people play it - mostly on American TV shows - they never, ever dress up like this. It frankly would look more at home in something like Paul W.S. Anderson's Mortal Kombat, what with its ridiculous flying kick in the center, making an inference that is not at all found in the final product, that you can actually beat the snot out of your opponents (which would have made for a much more enjoyable, not to mention realistic game). Add to that the blatant Photoshopping of this strange trio in front of what looks more like an Amazon shipping depot than anywhere anyone has ever played a game of street hockey. I'm not saying we needed them plastered in front of a white picket-fence down a creepily clean suburban street, but if they're being forced to play hockey in such desolate locations, it does at least explain why they need to be trained in the art of delivering acrobatic kicks...
