10 TV Sitcoms That Would Make Great Video Games

1. Eastbound And Down

Eastbound And Down
HBO

Few sitcoms are as incident-packed as Eastbound And Down, Over four seasons, the saga of Kenny Powers is ever-evolving, crossing country lines and taking in various careers, friends, enemies, and outrageous incidents. The video game adaptation would therefore be a piece of cake: just take all that good stuff and make it playable.

This would take inspiration from the South Park games, some of the most successful comedy/gaming crossovers in recent years. An Eastbound And Down RPG in which you control Kenny Powers as he navigates choppy waters, primarily of his own causing, would be a blast if done right.

Keeping the tone of the show would be imperative, and like the South Park games, this would be reliant on the collaboration of Eastbound’s creative team.

Provided all that is in place, there can be few more enjoyable ways to spend an evening than controlling Kenny Powers on a quest to reclaim his baseball career, all the while making terrible decisions and causing untold trouble. Kenny Powers is an antihero for the ages, more than deserving of a video game vehicle.
