2. The N00b

The n00b... oh-ho-ho boy, the n00b...

A "newb" is short for "newbie", and that is merely someone who is new to a game - thus, we've all been newbs at some point. But the n00b? Nope, nada, hell no.

A n00b is someone who is new to the game, and promptly makes a catastrophe out of everything, or uses cheap methods to obtain their goals.

They'll use beginner's tactics, overpowered weapons, equipment that requires little skill (like the "n00b tube" above), and pretty much irk you with the method that they play. More often than not, they tend to be casual gamers, but unlike the term "newb", "n00b" ignores how much experience with the game that a player actually has, so a veteran player using cheap tactics is just as much of a n00b as a newer player can be. Camping, lurking, drop-shotting, quickscoping, any and all easily mastered tactics are fair game for a n00b. And thus, they represent an unpredictable and potentially difficult adversary - for all of the low-grade tactics they use, their uniqueness makes them rather dangerous.
