10 Unconfirmed Video Games We Know Are In Development

Everyone knows that Square Enix is working on an Avengers game. The studio announced the project in 2017 with a cinematic trailer, but we've heard pretty much nothing since. However, we also know that the same publisher has a Guardians of the Galaxy title in production that has not been officially announced.

According to the 2017 rumours that were subsequently corroborated, the game is being developed by the team behind the recent Deus Ex games, Eidos Montreal. The same report said that the team was also working on a little game called Shadow of the Tomb Raider, so we can say with a fair amount of confidence it's accurate about the Guardians stuff as well.

Much like the Avengers project in development, we know pretty much nothing else about the Guardians of the Galaxy game. Based on Eidos Montreal's pedigree, it's fair to assume it will be a third-person experience with stunning graphics.

Will it be an open-world RPG in which you create a character who works with the Guardians? Or will it be a more linear action game that allows you to take control of each Guardian? It's anyone's guess, but Marvel has been picking and choosing its game development partners with impeccable expertise as of late, so we have no reason to think it won't be great.
