10 Underused Video Game Characters You Fell In Love With

6. Geno - Super Mario RPG

If you're a younger fan of Smash Bros. and you love the online community, you're probably thoroughly confused as to who this Geno person everyone is demanding Nintendo put into Smash Bros. is, but are likely by now far too afraid to ask.

The answer is that Geno was a one off character who appeared in only one game - the SNES classic Super Mario RPG. Geno was a fun character for the time we got to spend with him, and to this day fans are demanding his return in some form or another. Nintendo, meanwhile, just does whatever they can to drown them out.

While Nintendo has surprised people by putting other underused beloved characters like Banjo and Kazooie into Smash Bros., the chances of them putting in Geno by now are basically nonexistent. Which is a shame because the little puppet wizard boy really is a cool character and him coming back would be awesome. But like all of Mario's RPG outings, and the characters those games introduces, now that Super Mario RPG is decades behind them, Nintendo would just rather pretend that Geno never happened at all.
