10 Unfair Dark Souls Enemies
1. Bed Of Chaos
In a game like Dark Souls, at the very core of the gameplay is the idea that you can learn. Even through dying repeatedly, enemies and bosses will do the same attacks in the same way and with time, anyone can learn how to react and avoid enough of it to succeed.
This is why the Bed of Chaos in Dark Souls 1 is the very definition of unfair. One of the most frustrating boss fights in the series and for all the wrong reasons. There are many elements of chance to this encounter and it flies against everything that the game has been teaching you up to this point.
The floor underneath you breaks away leaving pits and insta-kill drops. The boss has sweeping limb attacks that always seem to throw you down to your doom. You need to perform a running jump between these attacks to reach the centre of the Bed of Chaos to kill it.
You take everything that the game has taught you so far about managing bosses and throw it out the window because this boss feels like it was dropped here out of another game. The original unfair Dark Souls enemy and probably the worst offender.
