9. Travis Touchdown (No More Heroes)
Travis from No More Heroes is another example of a character who has no problem decimating everyone he comes into contact with. This wouldnt be a problem if Travis had a noble goal or no other options, but he doesn't. So, why is he doing it? Because he wants to sleep with a stranger who promises Travis sex if he can kill the nine deadliest assassins in the world. Thats it. Unlike Nathan Drake, Touchdown does have some positive characteristics. He feels respect toward those he deems true warriors, hes highly knowledgeable and often poetic, and violence against women makes him feel uncomfortable. Of course, by the time we get to the second game Travis seems to have gotten over this discomfort, slicing both men and women to shreds with the same degree of reckless abandonment. So if anything, maybe hes getting worse. Its for these reasons that Travis Touchdown would make a perfect villain. Hes already amoral and self-involved, he already cheats in battle to get ahead despite his claims to be an honourable warrior. Just add a pinch more narcissism and Travis is ready to transform into a seriously dangerous antagonist.
