The Sims 3 globe-trotting expansion pack, World Adventures, has introduced a lot of supernatural elements into the game, such as mummies and magical relics.

Artifacts such as Pangu's Axe mostly serve as a means to solve puzzles inside the tombs your Sims can explore, but two of them, the Left and Right Eye of Horus, can be incredibly useful outside of spelunking and treasure hunting.

Found inside the Abu Simbel tomb in Egypt, the Eyes grant their user the ability to instantly teleport across the map, making them the perfect tool for fast travel.

To use the Eyes' power, you need to place one of them in the area you wish to appear in and then interact with the other to teleport to it. The process is easy and instantaneous, and once you learn how to do it, your Sim will never have to worry about being late to work again.

Some could argue that there are better ways of using ancient artifacts than giving yourself an extra hour of sleep in the morning or teleporting from your bed to the fridge, but then again, no one can really stop you from becoming the ultimate couch potato.
