7. Edward Scissorhands
Movie Plot: Tim Burtons clever comment on conformist society which proved he had significant talent and social commentary abilities before he became an evil corporate sell out is a big cult hit which still resonates with the angsty teens of the blogosphere of today. Some like the message, some like the humour, some just like it because they get to see Johnny Depp squirm in a thick leather suit. Either way; its got a following. Game Plot: Following his exclusion from society Edward enters a bitter ball of self-destructive rage. He hacks, he slashes, he does whatever he needs to get the anger out but it just wont go. Lucky for him however, the New York city mob are in town and come calling for a man of these unique talents and he quickly becomes a hit man, famed for his ability to leave a highly stylised ice sculpture at each murder scene. However like many a GTA game has taught us, Edward quickly learns that a gang of corrupt, money hunting murderous psychopaths are not to be trusted and he begins a plot to unravel them from the inside. Its bloody, its moody, its tonal, and it at least three times features Edward getting caught on the wrong end of a sadomasochistic orgy...Well it should serve him right for wearing all that leather. Cool Gameplay Features: Batman: Arkham Asylum style fighting combos, only with knives on the end of his hands. To keep the angsty teenage audience interested the game features Edward at least twice saying No-one understands me. Hair frizziness is available for customisation.
