Until the KISS inspired Galarian Zigzagoon, Zoroark was by far the most emo Pokémon out there. Despite emo phases typically being looked back on as the epitome of teenage blunder years, Zoroark’s popularity hasn’t waned one bit.

Its pre evolution, Zorua, might not be quite as cute as the likes of Cubchoo, but it’s certainly no slouch either. Whether you like cuddly or badass, this Pokémon has you covered. It’s not just the aesthetics department where Zoroark excels though.

In every generation, some Pokémon stand out and go down in history while others fade into obscurity. With Unova’s massive size, it’s even harder to stand out, but Zoroark is one of the first ‘mons many fans think of when they think of Black & White.

They were the first Unova Pokémon ever revealed, and they’ve been the pinnacle of the generation ever since. As such, it might be an early addition to Pokémon Go to follow suit, or we might be left waiting to cash in on its popularity.

With no abilities in PoGo, its distinctive Illusion ability will go the journey. It’s a shame, but there’s plenty more to love about Zoroark.
