10 Unova Pokémon We Can’t Wait To Catch In Pokémon Go

Like the starters, it makes sense to include the two box art ‘mons on a single entry. The titular Black and White Pokémon of Pokémon Black and White will be locked behind 5 star Raid Battles, but they’ll likely be very popular when they launch.

Zekrom is the black one, serving as the mascot for White. It uses its jet black tail to generate electricity, and in lore is the source of the lightning in Unova.

Reshiram meanwhile is white, and therefore is the official mascot of Pokémon Black. The more elegant of the two, Reshiram has fire in place of electricity, giving light and heat to the region.

You could possibly throw Kyurem in here as well, but seeing as we still haven’t gotten Arceus in Pokémon Go, let’s not hold our breath on that one just yet. As we get into further generations, there’s going to be more and more Legendaries coming.

Considering Niantic likes to release a Legendary, then cycle it through Raids again, then a third time with the shiny (potentially with a Raid Day or non-shiny stint in Research Boxes in between), we could be waiting a long time for some of them.
