10 Upcoming 2016 Video Games We Can’t Wait To See More Of

1. ReCore

The Xbox One may be trailing behind the PlayStation 4 in market share, sales, power and, well, almost everything right now, but there's one area where the former is currently leagues ahead of the latter: exclusives. Sure, Uncharted 4 and Horizon Zero Dawn are looking like shoo-ins for Game of The Year material, but Scalebound, Crackdown 3, Quantum Break and ReCore all have the same potential, and the added benefit of innovation to propel them to the top of the pile. Among all of the aforementioned games, concrete details concerning ReCore are the hardest to come by of them all. In fact, the image adorning this entry pretty much tells us everything currently worth knowing. There's a female protagonist, and she's accompanied by some kind of magical blue orb that can animate any artificial form it's planted in. Normally, it'd sound like a run-of-the-mill sci-fi premise the likes of which you've heard of countless time before, but the brains behind this particular title are stimulating my hype glands like no other. Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune and designers who have the Metroid Prime series on their résumés are helming the project, so if ReCore doesn't turn out to be a very special adventure, I'll eat these words. All of them. What games are you looking forward to most, that we know precious little about? Let us know in the comments!
