10 Upcoming 2016 Video Games We Can’t Wait To See More Of
2. The Legend Of Zelda Wii U
One day, whether it be months or years from now, The Legend Of Zelda Wii U will eventually be released and actually have a proper name to go along with it. What console it ends up materialising on is very much up for debate, however. Nintendo can't stay frustratingly quiet about the NX forever, and when it does finally decide to break radio silence concerning the new hardware, don't be surprised to see the words Wii U replaced with something else entirely. Of course, it could go the way of Twilight Princess and straddle the line between multiple generations by appearing on both, but my guess is that the reason why Nintendo even delayed the title in the first place was so they could work on multiple versions. All the footage released so far for Link's next adventure amounts to not much more than tech demos showcasing the art style and open fields of Hyrule, and considering Ninty are touting this as the biggest Zelda game they've ever created with a genuine open world for us to explore at our leisure, we've seen very little to support those claims. I have every faith that Nintendo know exactly what they're doing, but if they don't want their fans to hop off the hype train for good, they need to give us something to keep the thing running.
