1. Becoming A T-Rex - Super Mario Odyssey
Super Mario Odyssey looks so weird in the best kind of way. Bowser in a white tuxedo, Mario's sentient hat, and to top it all off, the ability to 'become' whatever you want with the new hat-throwing mechanic. The E3 trailer showed off the many potential options for things you can take control of, like a Bullet Bill or even a human person walking around New Donk City.However, the true standout thing that the trailer teased you can take control of has to be the T-Rex.
Surely very few people would've thought that you can take control of anything in Odyssey, much less a full-on non-Yoshi dinosaur.
Yet, the trailer opens with the T-Rex, and it looks like you can get up to some destructive fun once you take control of it. The world in which you would see the beast hasn't been unveiled yet, but you can bet that the environment will be well-suited for some dino-antics.
Super Mario Odyssey looks to be a thoroughly entertaining platforming experience, and the transformation ability looks to be a massive reason why. Best of all? When you take control of anything, the item/thing comes equipped with a moustache and Mario hat. The thought of that alone is enough for players to want to take control of that T-Rex ASAP.
