10 Upcoming 2024 Horror Games You Aren't Ready For
8. Little Nightmares III
With its monstrously creepy character designs, unsettling atmosphere, and ominous worldbuilding, the Little Nightmares games have become firm fan favourites with horror fans. Following the critical success of the first two main instalments, Little Nightmares III is set to launch later this year.
Featuring brand new characters Alone and Low, this game follows the pair as they work together to escape from the twisted place that they find themselves in. Like Mono and Six from the previous game, these new characters will have to cooperate to solve puzzles and defeat enemies by using their own unique abilities.
In the extended gameplay trailer, the protagonists make their way through a crumbling, sand-covered city known as the Necropolis where they narrowly avoid being detected by a gigantic toddler dubbed Monster Baby in the trailer’s description. It's looks like more of what made the series work so well, and that's great news for fans.
Not only is this the first game in the series developed solely by Dark Anthology creators Supermassive Games, but this is also the first time that players will be able to play together co-operatively online, meaning that nobody is required to face these horrors alone.
