3. Super Smash Bros. Wii U (TBA 2014)
How could a Super Smash Bros. game not make this list, short of Nintendo (stupidly) deciding not to make one? Much like the Mario Kart series, every entry into the Smash Bros. franchise to date has been extremely popular, and with good reason, given that it allows you to beat the living snot out of Nintendo characters like Kirby, Link, Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser and so on. Though very little is known about the game at present, we can expect it to expand on what has come before, and the hope for many will be that it will finally crack some stronger online features for a game that was absolutely
made for online. We know for a fact that the game will connect somehow with the 3Ds, though Nintendo has yet to expand upon this. Given what series creator Masahiro Sakurai has said so far, we shouldn't expect a drastically different experience than what has come before, though with the added tools of the Wii U, hopefully it will take full advantage of the possibilities they offer.
