10 Upcoming Games That Could Save The Wii U From Failure

4. Bayonetta 2 (TBA 2014)

Bayonetta 2 This one's a bit of a gamble, but one that could certainly pay off. Bayonetta 2's announcement shocked the world because it was revealed that the game would be a Wii U exclusive, which is an absolutely insane gamble considering that the original game came out on the PS3 and Xbox 360, but not the Wii. There's every possibility that the game simply won't hit with Nintendo fans who may not have had a chance to play the first game, but on the other hand, on a console that's sorely in need of some visceral action, this could be just the tonic it needs. Though the game is a while off yet, it was available in playable form at this year's E3, and it has been confirmed that the game will feature a multiplayer component of some kind as well as touchpad controls. Though the throng of angry PS3 and Xbox 360 owners are no doubt vocal, this could be a tantalising way to lure a few more players to the Wii U, and it will help slightly shed the platform's unmistakable "kiddie" image.
